For this first collaboration, we worked with designer Harmonie BEGON.
Specialized in craftsmanship and manufacturing, Harmonie BEGON has built her practice on a technical and hands-on approach to the creation of objects.
She collaborates with artisanal companies, manufacturers, and institutions linked to the heritage of object-making in France.
Here, she chose not to work with the shape, but with the pattern of our vases.
She brought a painted decoration to one of our iconic products: the olive jars.
A tribute to nature, three plant species are drawn : the olive tree, the hydrangea, and the oak, that we can find in our surrounding landscapes.
Each leaf, each flower, each curve is hand-painted. A white engobe is applied to the jar using a brush, which glides along the curves of the jar.
The result is raw. The natural color of the clay enhances the purity of the white engobe, creating a contrasting and balanced effect, which can fit perfectly in both interior and exterior design projects.
