Every Olive Jar is a single product of the dexterity and inspiration of the master potter who makes it. Each piece exhibits a slight individuality, a variation barely noticeable in size or in shape, which gives it its intrinsic value. After drying, the neck is glazed and the jarre is fired. Then the master potter applies patina to give the jar our typical finish. Our jarres olive are rope-turned by hand (“tournage à la corde”).
They are available in 5 different heights: 130,110, 90, 70 and 60 cm.
Here showed in prestige patina. Exclusively ceramic, the Prestige patina, applied before firing, is very hardwearing. Several years of research have been needed to perfect it. By working the material and the colours, we achieve a surface that evokes the quality of jarres handed down through the centuries.
